In 2016, we won the SNCF Réseau call for the production of an animated film presenting the work that was going to take place at Clamart station and the future station of Fort d'Issy-Vanves-Clamart as part of the Grand Paris Express.

The goals of this video on the Grand Paris Express and the works of the future Clamart Station were :

  • In a first part, it was a question of situating the context of this local operation in a larger one of the Grand Paris Express.
  • The second part was to explain the work that was going to take place whilst the station Clamart remains active. It presents the devices put in place allowing users to continue to have regular access to the platforms.
  • The third part presents the new station in its finalised state. More precisely, this is the intervention on the development of the new docks and the space of ‘interconnection’ of the station, designed by the tudio of architecture AREP which is presented here.

Our mission on this project was complete. We were also in charge for writing the general speech of the film, conducting the interviews of the protagonists, producing each of the animations and to mount the whole.

The challenge was to inform the users about the progress of the works, to make them aware of the technical issues of the site and to reassure them by explaining the provisions put in place to ensure their comfort.

We didn’t want to make a movie ‘100% 3D’ with too long shots. It’s a format that can quickly become boring. Towards the end we favoured short shots, animated and informative maps, interviews and voiceovers. Not to mention the sound and music that are essential to support the story.
