Coste Architectures agency wins the competition for the construction of the new Nanteuil-lès-Meaux Aquatic Center.
The third swimming pool in the Pays de Meaux, which has been in the planning stages for several years, has reached a new milestone.
Conceived as a modern, sustainable, and accessible facility, this project aims to meet the sporting, educational, and recreational needs of local residents. The future aquatic center will be located behind the gymnasium of the College de la Dhuis.
Construction is expected to begin within two years, with completion scheduled for 2029. The center is slated to open to the public in 2030.
The future facility will include :
- a 4-lane sports pool,
- a learning pool,
- about ten pieces of equipment dedicated to hydrotherapy.
Exterior features will accompany the project: green parking lots and roofs, a retention basin and rainwater harvesting system, as well as photovoltaic panels.
