Coste Architectures agency wins the competition for the construction of the new Roncq family swimming pool.
This is one of the flagship projects of the municipal team: the construction of a new Roncq family pool (approximately 13,000 inhabitants) to replace the aging and energy-inefficient one.
This is an ambitious project that is part of the plan to teach swimming, promote health through sport, and respect the environment and energy savings. After engaging Mission H2O and Verdi Ingénierie for the programming, the elected officials selected the Coste Architecture agency to design this new facility located between the La Source cultural center and the future sports complex.
With a total surface area of 2,527 m², the future swimming pool will offer a variety of activities for everyone, thanks to a 318.50 m² sports pool, a 150 m² multi-activity pool, a water playground for young children, and a three-lane water slide, as well as a large solarium for enjoying the outdoors in the summer. The sports department will set up its new offices there, as will the user clubs.
